Now we have come to the summary that creating our espresso a single cup at any given time is a lot of better than a large bitter pot sitting and simmering. So we purchased the Melitta coffee cones and use these filters. Although the #2 filters are created to the cones, I wish they were just somewhat taller. You will need to take care to not overfill the filter with drinking water. For that reason, I often purchase the #4 filters and trim them down somewhat. Just in case you might be thinking of buying the bleached white filters, We have two filter cones and experimented with them facet by facet with a person white filter and a single brown. The brown filters are A lot more quickly and do not often clog up such as the white ones do. Just an FYI.
